The UCMF supports medical students in different aspects including financial support, Christian discipleship, and Mentorship.
The UCMF Students’ Chapter is a vibrant arm of the UCMF, established in 2012 to foster active participation and inclusion of Christian Medical Students’ from different Medical Schools in Uganda. As of now UCMF-Students Chapter has members from over 10 medical schools in Uganda and these include
Gulu University, Makerere Univesity, Mbarara University of Science $ technology(MUST), Uganda Christian University, Busitema University, Soroti University, Kabale University, Kampala International University, Islamic University in Uganda(IUIU) and King ceaser University
The UCMF Students’ Mentorship program helps to link Medical Students to Mentors within the UCMF.
The UCMF helps to coordinate Medical Electives in various health institutions in Uganda.
UCMF Students’ Conference
The UCMF Students’ Conference is held annually since the launch of the UCMF Students; chapter in 2012. The event is organised and hosted by the different Medical Schools across the country, on a rotational basis. The most recent event was hosted at Scripture Union Campsite Kawuku in Entebbe, Uganda in October 2023.
